Academy Singers invites you to an afternoon of classic popular hits that have well and truly stood the test of time.
Henry Mancini's "Moon River", first performed by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's is just one of many songs from the 40s, 50s and 60s that many of us remember with great affection.
Think "Fly Me to the Moon", made famous by Ol' Blue Eyes himself, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole's "Mona Lisa", Nature Boy" and "Begin the Beguine" or "Cry Me A River" from Julie London, Cole Porter's "In the Still of the Night" and many more.
Last but not least, our version of "You'll Never Walk Alone" definitely won't be as loud as a 95,000 strong crowd of Liverpool Football fans but it may still give you goosebumps.
We will be accompanied by Tres Amigas, a Blue Mountains-based musical trio featuring Jane Andino, Ann Palumbo and Inge Courtenay-Haentjes who perform a mix of original songs and Latin American music.
Afternoon tea will be served after the performance. All are welcome.
